I've watched this scene from Batman Returns a dozen times on You Tube and on various sewing blogs over the years and I just can't get enough of it! I've loved Michelle Pfeiffer since Grease 2 and find that the frightful influence of Tim Burton in Batman Returns shapes her transformation from meek Selina Kyle to vengeful Catwoman into an awesome display of unleashed psychoses. This scene is further shaped by the chilling notes of composer Danny Elfman, working to enhance the darkness of both the scene and the movie overall.
I don't think the poor sock monkey saw it coming!!
